Super Late Model 2012 Season The season began with a Fast Dash Win and ended with a. . . Feature Win!
This season has had its share of ups and downs, but I'm happy to say that we ended the season on a high note by winning the final feature of the year at Slinger. We started the season strong and found ourselves 3rd in points after the first month of racing. Then, our luck ran out. . . After two wrecks and a few mechanical issues we decided to take two weeks off and gather up the pieces. We came back and had a 3rd and 4th place finish. But, in the second to last night bad luck struck one more time as our night ended early. With the final race left, we went into the race with no expectations. As the afternoon progressed, the car ran really well and I was able to pass the track champion for my first Super Late Model Feature win. With the win, we locked up a 6th place overall finish in points, even though we missed two nights and had a couple of DNF's. Currently, we are planning on running the September Showdown at the Dells Raceway Park on the 22nd and LaCrosse's Octoberfest Race on the 4th and 5th. We look forward to seeing you there.
